Nutritional Therapy is a complementary medicine that offers benefits for anyone seeking to improve their overall health and wellbeing, including those who suffer from chronic health conditions. Our wellbeing is influenced by several factors, including nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental health, genetics, and the environment we live in. It is essential to optimise all these areas to maintain good health, and a wholesome diet is vital to achieve this, as it impacts our daily functioning, energy levels, mood, hormonal balance, immunity and much more.

 

Nutritional therapy is a personalised approach that aims to support the body's natural healing mechanisms using food as the primary method, and supplements or herbs as necessary. For those with specific health concerns, therapists conduct a comprehensive case history and use tools to identify potential nutritional imbalances. Overall, nutritional therapy offers an individualised solution to improve health and wellbeing, and its effectiveness is evident through positive results and improvements in the overall quality of life.

Having personally experienced the incredible benefits of embracing a nutritious diet and making significant lifestyle changes, I quickly realised that I wanted to share my knowledge with others and help them experience the transformative impact of natural therapies. After spending 15 years engrossed in research on various alternative therapies, I made the decision to enrol in the prestigious College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and obtain a distinction in Nutritional Therapy. During my three-year tenure at the college, I focused on the intricacies of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and the crucial role that nutrition and lifestyle play in both health and disease. Additionally, I spent 200 clinical hours honing my skills, making my training a truly invaluable experience.

 

As a proud mother of one beautiful little boy, and having experienced the impact of poor nutrition as a child, I am particularly passionate about children's health. I believe that establishing a solid foundation for healthy habits early on in life can significantly benefit a child's future health and well-being as an adult. 

 

It is my firm belief that every individual is unique and, therefore, a one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition is ineffective. The food we put into our bodies plays a crucial role in our body's overall functionality and future health. As such, I strive to inspire my clients with exciting new recipes and provide them with the tools and knowledge to not only survive but truly thrive on a healthy lifestyle. I pride myself on providing bespoke services with personalised plans for each of my clients and I work within the principles of naturopathy; treating the whole person, avoiding harm, trusting the body's innate wisdom to heal itself, and treating the underlying cause of illness, not just the symptoms. 

 

My ultimate goal is to help individuals and families achieve optimal physical and mental wellness while empowering them to take control of their own health. With my guidance, small and manageable changes can lead to significant improvements in health and vitality. I firmly believe that education and ongoing support are key components in achieving and maintaining long-term health goals.
